Unfortunately for the gardener in me, the season got to a late start. Then, with my sister visiting in early July and the Baltic Mission Team here in late July, the weeds got a terrific head start on me in the corn patch.  I didn’t add much compost last fall to the vegetable garden, choosing instead to focus on flowers.

So, this year I’ll just put up a picture of my newly created flower garden.  The fence is to keep out the “malamutes!”. Unfortunately for the flowers, the gladioluses, esp., Skimo, our youngest malamute likes to go “under” the fence. The older dogs don’t look on it like the sport she does.
